We have three types of model boat activities for the participants of this hobby. More details can be found in the Boat Sections page.
Sailing
The International One Metre (IOM) class is sailed every Thursday from 1 pm. A short video of some IOM action is shown below.
DragonForce 65 (DF65) sailing is held on the second and fourth Saturday of each month starting at 1 pm.
DragonFlite 95 (DF95) sailing is held on every Tuesday starting at 1 pm.
Scale Steering
Model electric boats, from fishing trawlers, tug boats to warships take part in maneuvering through a navigation course. Competitions are one Sunday a month from 9 am and is open to Senior and Junior members.
Fast Electric
Battery powered fast electric boat racing takes place one Sunday a month from 9 am for Seniors and Juniors. See Colin Elton with his Tunnel Hull below:
One Sunday of each month is a free sailing/boating day where members trial and test their boats and socialize with members; visitors are welcome.

Our competitions begin on the first week in February each year and finish the last week of November. We have a Christmas Lunch for members, partners and friends during which, the presentation of the annual awards takes place.
